Master bing. Could you write a book like master Cheng Man Ch'ing did ? (http://www.gibertjoseph.com/methode-d-aprrentissage-du-tai-chi-ch-uan-308914.html?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=shopbot&utm_content=occasion&utm_campaign=livre) That would be helpful for all the europeans who can't afford a trip to wudang moutain to learn your forms. A book who describes your teaching, your experience and how to do your forms would seel well, like Chen Man Ch'ing books. Moreover, there are special editions houses which are trying to print books like that. For instance, in France, there is this edition house : "Le Courrier du Livre". It has already printed and sold well all Chen Man Ch'ing's and Waysun Liao's books and a lot of books about the Yang style. Could you think about that please ? That could be really helpful to hundred of thousands peoples. Whishing you the best, Thomas

    • wudangbing

      22

Dear Thomas Thank you very much for your writing, Yes。i would love to do that。 I have thinking about it for a while。 I will let you know my process about the book Bing

      • Thomas

        23

Mr Bing, If that can help you : I never saw any books teaching the sword form or about the sitck form. Every books I know teach the basic "hand form" but nothing else exist on the others. Cheers

Thank you , i like to try that too

  • Benjamin

    25

Hello, Which form do you think I could learn? I do not have a lot of time to practice so I would like which form is the most important I could learn from you. Benjamin

    • wudangbing

      26

Hello, Benjamin for a beginner, the most important wudang form to learn is Ji Ben Quan ( the basic form )。 Thank you。 Bing

      • Benjamin

        27

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I don't know where I can learn it. You do not sell any DVD which teach that and I can't find a teacher where I live. How do you think I could learn it ? I watched this form on you tube but I have a doubt : is it really Tai chi ? Benjamin

        • wudangbing

          28

I will have a DVD for that, this year or early next year。 it is basic practice of kung fu and tai chi

          • Benjamin

            29

Good news ! I will wait for it, I will have more time to pratice in one year. I don't understand what is kung fu but if it's Tai chi too, it's okay for me. Thank you

Dear Master Bing Thank you very much for considering teaching here in Chile we apreciate you can come, would be very good if we can coordinate your staying in USA with your coming to Chile, is halfway to China. One idea:for example if you are planning to teach in the USA this October and November, could you consider stay in our continent a litlle longer and come to Chile on end week of November - beggining 2 weeks of December? for example you could stay here for 3 weeks, we arrange everything for you, comfortable place to stay with warm and cold pool, sauna and nice view of the sea, in our city Viña del Mar Chile. We can arrange a 1 week course in Viña and 1 weekend course in Santiago. Than you can rest for some days and we can travell with you all together with the students to a special mystical place in Chile that is called " Elqui Valley" in the north of Chile, where the originary people of Chile say there is a very good energy of the mountains, we can go with you there to do some taiji and meditation in the morning and kungfu training in the evenings just like in Wudang. Besides the arrangements and ticket can you tell us about your payment you require. We are very greatfull you can consider come with us, our students will be also very glad, we all admire you and train hard to open the bridge to bring the wudang knowledge to our part of the world, we consider it somehow like a life mission. Best Regards Pamela Ortega

Hey Mr Bing! A few questions to you: - How many students actually live in the 5 dragon temple? - Who will train the students when you are not there? (how many other teachers?) - should i have much training experience before i come to the 5 dragon temple?

    • wudangbing

      43

we may going to move to a new location in wudang mountain in next March. if we still live in 5 dragon temple next year, about maximum 10 students can live in the 5 dragon temple. i will invite a kung fu brother from my Master's school to teach while i not in wudang. there only 2 teachers include me. you don't have to have much training experience before you come to the 5 dragon temple.

Hello again Teacher Bing I understand that you are a very busy person, it excuses my insistence, but I need to know your opinion regarding my transformation experience, to write it in the book before sending it to you, I forward you the comment, and ahead of time thank you for your support so that this book goes the light I would like to tell you something. When a come back from Wudang, I was with a friend in the hotel in China. I was traveling with him. His name es Chava. When we were in the room, I was sitting in the bed, it was a mirror in the front. When I saw the mirror, I saw a Taoist Master of Wudang. I was dressed with black clothes. I was with a long hair like yours, then I was feeling like a Taoist really just for a moments. When my friend saw me I asked him:” See me Chava “What are you seeing? Then he answer me: “I see a Taoist priest!” and I answered;” “No Chava, I am, I am the Master” Could you tell me something about this? Thanks again, Alejandro Torres

    57

Hello, I was wondering if there are certain requirements that have to be met in order to attend this school such as a preliminary duty of some sort to gain access to the school because i have been lead to believe that at such a traditional school like this, that you have to prove your dedication by say for example standing outside of the school for several days in order to be taught.. is this true? Thank you, Ben

    • wudangbing

      58

Hi, Ben, thank you for your message, to be a taoist monk in Wudang, normally first thing have to do is living in Wudang Five Dragon Temple for 2 years, doing taoist training. very simple living condition. to be a student in a kung fu school in wudang, the doorsill is not as high, "standing outside of the school for several days in order to be taught ", it's true, but that's 20 years ago.

    • wudangbing

      59

That is true, But that was 20 years ago

  • Jean

    60

Hello master, I can take classes of Taiji or Qi Gong in my school but I can't take the two of them. Which one do you think I should practice ? I hope you will answer, Have a nice day, Jean

    • wudangbing

      61

Normally a Qigong form is more simple than a TaiChi form, so you can start with a Qigong Form first

Sifu, I am practicing your Five Animal Qigong and I am enjoying it very much. I have two questions. Should I practice each form separately until I master it then move to the next one, or should I do all five forms each session? The second question is how many times per a day should I practice? Many Thanks Sifu, Michael

    • wudangbing

      81

you'd better practice each form separately until you can do the form fluent, then move to next form, you can practice them more than 10 times per day if you have time, especially when you learning them, once you can do all five forms fluent, then you can practice them at least 2 times every day. in the morning or evening. thank you for your questions, if you have more questions, please feel free to email me, bing@wudangdao.com

Master, I'm currently training with your five animals Qi Gong DVD. I have 2 questions about the crane form. 1)About the beginning of "the swan displaying the wings" : I find it very hard to bend my right leg like you do. Is there anything I can do to do that correctly ? 2) About "the swan playing with the water" : It is hard for me to stand up on one leg. I fall when I try to do this. Again, is there any exercise I can do to help me doing that ? And a last question : When will I know that I do a form correctly ? Anyway, thank you a lot for this DVD, I enjoy it very much. I am very motivated to get better so I train as much as I can. Have a beautiful day !

    • wudangbing

      87

Hi, thank you for your message, 1)"the crane displaying the wings", bend your right let, go as low as you can, after many times of practice, you will find you can bend your leg much lower. 2)"the crane playing with the water", when you shift your weight to an other and stand up on one leg, you can do it slower at first, and shift the weight little by little, do NOT shift body weight from one leg to an other at once and quickly. again, shift body weight little by little, the smaller the better. it might take longer time to do this at first, but just take your time to practice this way, once you use to move this way, you can move quickly without problem. 3) when you do the form, you can have deeper, longer, gentle breath, and have more peaceful and clear mind. move more smoothly and more nature, with out thinking. you will know you do the form correctly.

      • fly

Hi Master Bing, I remember that on one episode of Nat Geo, which talked about Wudang kung fu, there was this one taoist monk called Li Suan Tong who said that he wishes to attain immortality by practicing Tai He fist, I was wondering, is it actually possible to achieve supernatural powers like immortality, being able to hit things without touching, or even levitation and the ability to fly, through practicing kung fu?

    • wudangbing

      97

practice kung fu is one way of practice to attain immortality, but it is beginning level of attain immortality. the higher level of kung fu, is possible to achieve supernatural powers

I did remember reading about something called Wudang Natural Beating 自然神打 which is a combat skill set taught rarely but is very powerful and almost supernatural according to wudangquan.net. there are videos on it, but its all in mandarin, which I understand very little. Do you know anything about the Wudang Natural Beating technique?

from my experience, all left handed people are learning forms on their right hand. after you learned the form, you can try to practice with your left hand.

Hi, Marie, the picture is not about a place, it is about internal alchemy practice, it's a human body, in a seating posture. looks like a baby in it's mother's uterus

Hello Master Bing, I have a question about your TaiJi Sword DVD. In the DVD section is says Wudang San Feng TaiJi Sword DVD Part 1... does that mean there is another TaiJi sword dvd that you will make in the future? or does this DVD have the whole form? (64 movements right?) Also, I have a question about the Wudang TaiJiQuan empty hand forms. I saw you have a DVD for the 28 TaiJi Form, but I have also read there is a 36 Wudang TaiJi form... are these forms the same with different counting of the movements, or two completely different forms? Finally one more question. In the SanFeng Pai are there any TaiJi Staff forms? 谢谢您!!! -Greg Casey
